GBSLEP implements scrutiny arrangements to ensure that all of our activities and investments are open, transparent and subject to scrutiny.
GREATER BIRMINGHAM & SOLIHULL LEP SCRUTINY COMMITTEES
The Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP Scrutiny Committees are comprised of Councillors from local authorities who are within the Birmingham and Solihull boundary.
Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP Scrutiny Committees
The two Local Authorities who are within the Birmingham and Solihull Boundary, and who are members of the GBSLEP Limited Company have each nominated a Scrutiny Committee, made up of councillors from the relevant authority to separately review the work of the LEP.
The role of both of these committees as set out in the National Assurance Framework is to provide independent scrutiny of the activities of GBSLEP.
