Building data and AI capability with Apprenticeships

12 Feb 2021

Data and AI skills are increasingly core skills to unlock new services and business offerings. But how do you ensure your workforce has the necessary skills and capabilities to realise such gains for your firm and advance their own career?

The answer is through apprenticeships and accessing the new provision brought to the West Midlands thorough partnership working between Cambridge Spark, GBSLEP Skills Hub and West Midlands industry cluster bodies SuperTech - the UK’s only ProfTech supercluster - and the West Midlands Health Technologies Cluster.

This webinar will review case studies of how current data science apprentices are applying their new skills to deliver on business objectives. Helen Birbeck from GBSLEP Skills Hub will describe the support available for employers to assess skills needs and access relevant funding from the Apprenticeship Levy with Helen Gibson, Head of Training Solutions at Cambridge Spark outlining the skills needed for different roles across organisations as well as the learning pathways now available.
