The Midlands Engine partnership brings together public sector partners and businesses to complement the activity of local and combined authorities, LEPs, universities, businesses and others. It generates added value for the whole of the Midlands, its communities and the wider UK.
Along with the other 8 LEPs in the Midlands, GBSLEP is an integral member of the partnership.
Chaired by Sir John Peace, this partnership is a collective voice from our region, adding value as an influencer, an advocate, a catalyst for change and an enabler of accelerated delivery.
The Midlands Engine approach is apolitical, focused on increasing productive economic growth and improving quality of life for communities in every part of the region.
Home to over 10 million people and 800,000 large and small businesses, the Midlands has huge potential and the Partnership is focused on its global success – and this, in turn, will deliver an enhanced quality of life for our citizens and communities.
