Director for Access to Finance
Pat Hanlon has worked in Birmingham for over 25 years and has supported businesses of all shapes and sizes during that time. As a career banker he has scaled two new entrant banks in the local market and has worked with start ups through to FTSE100 companies across virtually all sectors including manufacturing, professional services, healthcare and real estate. Originally from Glasgow, he is committed to the region where he and his wife have brought up their two daughters. They are now developing their own careers in Accountancy and Surveying.
Pat has previous experience on Boards of schools, charities and RSL’s and now chairs two of Finance Birmingham’s Investment Committees. He leads on Access to Finance for GBSLEP and sits on the Enterprise Zone Board as well as the main Board. He is a member of the Midlands Engine Strategic Oversight Board, ensuring that initiative delivers much needed business finance.
