I am responsible for the capital funding programmes in the LEP and a member of the management team here. We currently have an excellent stream of projects seeking our support. My focus is on ensuring that we are confident that they will help deliver our strategy.
Just how much we’ve developed and matured as an organisation. I am really proud of some of the projects that we’ve helped partners deliver too.
It’s a project that we’ve just approved onto our funding programme in Burton, which is hopefully going to realise the potential of the Washlands area of the town. Creating a sense of place and enhancing the local character can make such a difference to the way people feel about an area; it can encourage identity and pride. I think this is such a vital part of long-term economic growth.
Love! I relocated to Birmingham three years ago to move in with my girlfriend who was already living here. She decided to make a big career change from being a commercial litigator, to pursue her passion for human rights and start her doctorate. We both have a lot of love for the area so Birmingham was the location for us.
Well there are so many to choose from… probably the music from the band Marillion.
It would be my taid (grandfather) and dad, I didn’t get to spend much time with them both together and I have the feeling we’d have a great laugh.
