WM Natural Environment Plan launched

In collaboration with its partners, the West Midlands Combined Authority has published ambitious plans to address climate change, through carbon reduction priorities and enhancing the natural environment.
The West Midlands Natural Environment Plan: 2021 - 2026 reflects a broad approach to natural capital, looking at both green and blue spaces and the actions we plan to take to protect, enhance and restore the region’s biodiversity. Working together with partners across the region to achieve these goals.
In the Plan, there are a series of recommendations and case studies of projects that are already delivering a range of environmental enhancements. The Tame Valley Wetlands partnership which has received funding from the GBSLEP is identified for its work to achieve a high quality, well known and valued landscape. GBSLEP continues to work with this partnership.
