Our Sector Champion for BPFS is Ian Barnes, Chairman of BPS Birmingham Ltd.
Ian is an experienced international tax partner at Deloitte who leads the Midlands Business Tax practice (c.100 people) and also has a wider leadership role across the entire South region for the Advisory tax group (c.250 people). Ian is also the Chair of Birmingham Professional Services (BPS) organization representing the Professional Services sector in the Midlands with a role on the GBSLEP and is taking a leading role in shaping business support and response to national and local growth strategy. This includes discussions on how both BPS and Deloitte can support the Midlands Engine strategy with Sir John Peace.
